Vaginoplasty 23 April, 2025
Vaginoplasty, labiaplasty, or nymphoplasty is a procedure that aesthetically improves the female genital area. Many patients experience significant changes in this area that cause aesthetic and functional discomfort. Different parts of the female genitals can be treated. Fat can accumulate in the mons pubis, causing discomfort when wearing certain clothing, so we perform liposuction to improve its appearance. The labia majora can lose volume and become flaccid due to weight changes, pregnancy, and hormonal factors. In these cases, fat or hyaluronic acid can be injected to restore volume. The labia minora can also undergo significant changes, presenting asymmetries or becoming excessively large and protruding over the labia majora, hindering sexual pleasure and hygiene. In this case, we perform a precise resection of the excess tissue to rejuvenate the female intimate area. Additionally, changes in the vaginal canal can cause sexual difficulties or urinary incontinence, which we can treat with CO2 laser or surgical techniques to reduce their size. It is common to combine several surgical and non-surgical techniques in a single procedure to treat different conditions. At Majestic Plastic Surgery, we believe that the final result depends largely on the surgeon’s concept of beauty. The combination of feminine and masculine concepts, and the presence of two surgeons in the same procedure, guarantees superior body harmony, with shorter surgical time and unparalleled support, thus achieving unparalleled results.

When indicated:

This procedure is indicated in patients with:
    • Excess fat in the pubis or mons pubis.
    • Vaginal labia majora without volume and with laxity.
    • Asymmetry in the vaginal lips.
    • Large labia minora that protrude.
    • Urinary incontinence.
    • Difficulty achieving sexual pleasure due to an increase in the size of the vaginal canal.
    • Vaginal lubrication problems.
    • Desire to have a more harmonious female genital area.

How to do it:

We always make a Pre-surgical consultation to determine our patient’s requirements and expectations. The procedure is performed in a completely aseptic and antiseptic operating room.
    • Liposuction of the mons pubis: Two access points are created to inject a liquid mixture and extract localized fat.
    • Fat injection into the labia majora: Fat is extracted from any part of the body and transferred to the labia majora.
    • Resection of excess tissue on the labia minora: Flaps are designed and dissected to reduce the size and create symmetry.
    • Vaginal canal enhancement: Fractional CO2 laser or surgical resection can be performed to reduce the size of the vaginal canal.

Pre-surgery instructions:

    • Do not take anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin, ibuprofen, diclofenac, etc., as they affect blood clotting.
    • Report the use of herbal medications, vitamins, or supplements natural.
    • Stop smoking cigarettes at least 15 days before the procedure.
